Intramuros

Corregidor island

It is highly recommended to visit Corregidor Island. It was once a place where heavily-armed fortress guarding the entrance of the bay. Manila also has the oldest chinatown in Southeast Asia called Binondo. The district is so lovely and fun to explore. Shopping at Manila’s weekend markets is also fun thing to do. You can also just browse around the place to buy some homemade foods. The best place to visit is Makati where there is Salcedo Village Market. It is open on every Saturday. Another option is Legazpi Village Market which is open on Mondays. If you go further to the north, you can also pay a visit to Sidcor weekend market where you can find various fresh foods.

Bonifacio Global City

If you want to see the futuristic side of Manila, pay a visit to Bonifacio Global City. It is more like a park resembling business area in which you can also find various museums and shopping districts. You can also visit one of the bars or restaurants or stay in one of the luxury hotels in the area. It is not hard to find them since there are scattered around the place.
