There were also news about how protesters occupying the airports. Thus, is it safe to visit Hong Kong for travelers now? How dangerous could it be if you pay a visit anytime soon?

The Hong Kong authorities say that the city is still open for business. It means tourism is still open as well. They say that all stand including the government, the business sector and the community are ready to assist visitors at anytime. However, people around the world still worry about the impacts since there have been news about vandalism, clash, and road blocking. The government said that business organizations including hotels and travel agents are trying their best to minimize disruptions so visitors will stay comfortable.

However, they did advise their citizens to increase caution and stay away from particular areas where demonstrations are mostly taking place. So, basically it is still possible for you to visit Hong Kong for travel purpose. The airlines are also still functioning in and out the Hong Kong. Most demonstrations were peaceful so the risk of being hurt is little. The clash happened only between protesters and the police. Therefore, you can still actually have a peaceful trip in Hong Kong as long as you steer clear from areas occupied by protesters. 

Leaving Hong Kong

If you are already in Hong Kong and want to get out of Hong Kong immediately, you can do it without a fuss. You can leave the place immediately using various transports available including bus, train, or car. You can head to Shenzhen in neighboring mainland China. You can go to its international airport. Or, you can head to Macau using ferry to reach international airport.

There is no main tourist attraction being closed up to this day so visiting Hong Kong is still possible as long as you remain cautious.
