You can also focus on yourself by choosing someplace luxurious to stay at during the trip for example. It is fine to indulge yourself because you deserve it.

Developing your social skills

When travel in group, people who are more extroverts tend to take over many social interactions such as asking to strangers, ordering foods, etc. Meanwhile, travel solo will leave you with no choice but do it yourself. Man people thought it was because of the recirculated air that passengers getting sick when flying. However, the study found that it was false. The major factor that can cause sickness to airplane passengers is the germs spread by human movement throughout the cabin.

How to prevent yourself from getting sick on plane

The best thing to do to stay healthy and safe during a flight is to practice good hygiene. Avoiding in contact with germs is a must. However, it is probably too much for some travelers to keep themselves on guard to avoid any contact with germs in the cabin. Also, it is recommended that you choose window seat rather than aisle seat. Window seats are

According to the studies, the risks of transmission of respiratory viruses in cabin of an airplane are still unknown. However, movements of crew and passengers may facilitate disease transmission. Hence, it makes sense if window seats are said to have lower risks of disease transmission. Window seats provide less chance for movements. Passengers and crew won’t pass by window seats but the aisle ones. Hence, aisle seat are more exposed to disease transmission.

Furthermore, thinking that you will get sick from using the air flowing through the nozzle above you is highly unlikely. You are more vulnerable to get sick from other people as well as items that pass through the cabin. By choosing the window seat, you can avoid germ traffic. It is also recommended that you sit in your window seat throughout the duration of the flight if it is a short one. If you have a long-haul flight, minimize your movement. You can stretch your body while going for a toilet break to minimize unnecessary movement.

Avoid using blanket provided by the airline especially when you see it is dirty. Sometimes, the airline doesn’t have much time to wash or replace the blankets after the previous flight due to tight schedule. Hence, you don’t know if previous passengers might have been sicks or spread the germs to the blanket. It is more recommended to bring your own travel blanket if you take a long-haul flight.

Be mindful of what you eat during the flight. If there is something off about the food, do not eat it. Hence, it is highly recommended to pack your own foods at least some snacks. So if the in-flight foods are not to your liking, you can always open your pack of foods.

Avoid alcoholic, carbonated, and caffeinated beverages. It is important to stay hydrated to avoid getting sick while on a flight. However, those kind of beverages will increase your dehydration because the are diuretic. Stick to healthy beverages such as mineral water or fruit juice. Take a good nap during the flight so you can land feeling refreshed because lack of sleep can lower your immune system.

  7. Always stay near the ranger when visiting Komodo island or Rinca island.
However, the Komodo Dragon is a cold-blooded animal that still needs to be aware of because of its aggressive nature.
  8. Avoid visiting Komodo during menstruation.
This is because to avoid the unwanted, Komodo Dragons have a sharp smell and can detect the scent of blood from a distance of 5 kilometers.
  9. Bring sturdy hiking boots.
The terrain that must be traversed in several areas is quite steep and challenging, so don’t underestimate it.

What Not To Do When You Are In A Vacation Rental

What Not To Do When You Are In A Vacation Rental

Choosing vacation rental for your stay during your holiday can be a great idea. It has everything you need from comfy bedroom to useful kitchen. It is even better if the house is big and can fit all your travel buddies. It is considered better than booking several hotel rooms. However, it is also important that you treat it not like your own house where you can freely do what you want. Many travelers make common mistakes when staying in a vacation rental and you could be one too.

Avoid these common mistakes during your stay in vacation rental

Ignoring or forgetting the sheet of instructions the host left you. The note can help you save time because then you don’t have to ask many questions again. You can carefully and thoroughly read the note to avoid any unnecessary issues later. You don’t have to figure out yourself how to work with the system of the house. Just check the note and see the instructions there.

Avoid these common mistakes during your stay in vacation rental

Using the dishes without washing them first. It is understandable if you do it in hotel room because you believe the housekeeping keep everything clean and usable. However, the protocol is different with a vacation rental. You don’t know if the host or the previous guests washed the dishes well. Even if the dishes look clean, avoid using them right away unless you wash them first. It aims to guarantee cleanliness.

Forgetting to save your host’s contact information offline. In today’s fashion of travel and accommodation, physical interaction is limited. However, that doesn’t mean you should limit the connection totally. Always save your host’s contact information such as phone number and email. Always save your vacation rental’s address and its direction. Also, save the code of the door or where you can find the keys. Make sure every information stays with you to avoid unnecessary problem later.

Losing your vacation rental’s key. In most cases, vacation rentals use a lockbox code. However, there are some of them that still use old-fashioned key. It has higher risk of being lost or forgotten. If you happen to rent a house with key, make sure not to lose it. Also it is best to ask your hose several keys so each of your travel buddies can have it to avoid being locked out. Losing a key can cause a big trouble especially if there is no locksmith nearby.

Be mindful with how you act. Make sure to not do anything that can damage the property or disturb the neighbor. Throwing party can cause you to lose your security deposit. You may face a big fine from the agency. Also, do not forget to pay for the rental fee before checking out. It is often that travelers leave the  house without completing their deposit first and most of the time is because they forget to do so. Hence, set a reminder to inform you about the deposit.
