If being surrounded by wildlife and nature is something that you’ve always dreamed of experiencing, then boat charter Komodo is something that you should definitely invest on. This remote area is located in the largest archipelagic country in the world; and even by Indonesia’s standards, the place is remote. If you’re expecting wilderness and great expanses of just brilliant nature; it’s here.

Exploring the Flores area using Komodo boat tour is among the best way to spend your holiday. It’s definitely not for those currently worrying about budget. This is why this trip is something you save up for; and the investment is definitely going to pay off. Besides, you really don’t have to worry about the essentials as you’ll be well taken care of by the wonderful staff aboard.

Delightful chef-prepared meals

When you’re on a Komodo boat charter, you don’t have to worry about meals; no need to budget or be overwhelmed by options you’ll have on a foreign, remote area. Your boat is already equipped with experienced chef ready to cook you daily meals. Make sure that you try the Indonesian specialties for your delicacies!

One of my Indonesian food favorites to have onboard is the Rendang (usually cooked using beef). It’s a heavenly dish made of rich and complex spices. The sauce is a brilliant mix of coconut milk and all sorts of exotic spices all perfectly seeping into the beef. It’s a long-cook meal and the mixes of spices is known to make this dish able to last for a very long period of time. The Minangkabau people of old are known to cook rendang that could last over a week without any preservation; the key is in the antimicrobial properties found in the assorted spices!

Heaven for diving

diving komodo boat charter

If there’s anyone who would invest in a Komodo boat charter it’s the divers. Going on a komodo liveaboard is the ultimate way to get as much dive as possible. If you’re staying at a resort diving; you’ll have to make trips every morning and go by a boat to your diving spot. The commute time to the diving site itself takes a considerable amount of time out of your day and you’re going by a small boat. You won’t get as much dive during your trip compared to when you’re going by a cruise.

Aside from the world-famed marine biodiversity, the Komodo National Park of Flores is also the place to witness some of the most diverse terrestrial wonders as well. You can find over 80 endemic bird species in both Flores and the lesser Sunda islands. Adventuring in land is as much fun as your exploration of the oceans.

Bedroom Furniture Yogyakarta Purchasing Tips

The bedroom is a place that should bring you the most comfort. But designing your own bedroom can be tricky. Where should you start when you’re looking for bedroom furniture Yogyakarta to create a room that would give you the best welcome once you decided to retire. Furnishing in general is a highly subjective matter especially when considering a highly personal space such as the bedroom. But regardless of each individual’s preferences, there are fundamental things that applies to any bedroom furnishing effort.

Bedroom furniture Yogyakarta

The bedroom is the most private area of your home   the place where you’ll be resting to recover after a long day of activities. If you have limited budget when furnishing your bedroom, then make sure that the pieces of furniture that you ‘sacrifice’ to make your budget work is never the bed.

small bedroom furniture yogyakarta

Aside from investing on a bed that would last you at least a decade, other pieces of furniture in your bedroom that should be planned are the bedroom storage (this mainly includes your closet), convenience, and other miscellaneous you’d like to personally have in your bedroom.

Investing on a good bed

The most important piece of furniture in a bedroom that you simply can’t compromise on is the bed. Work with your budget to accommodate the best piece of bed that fulfills your need. When choosing bedroom furniture Yogyakarta always chose: the highest quality mattress, a good structure that holds your bed, a durable headboard with a timeless style.

bedroom decor yogyakarta

When it comes to choosing beds for your bedroom, there are several things that you need to consider on top of investing on a quality bed. One of the first factor is the size of the bed. When determining your bedside, think of two things: first, who will be using the bed, second; the size of your bedroom – how much space you’ll have left once you put the bed in? Most of the time, the bed is the biggest piece of furniture in a room and for tiny rooms, it usually doesn’t leave you with much space for more.

Bedroom storage

The next pieces of bedroom furniture Yogyakarta would be the storage to store your personal items, from your clothes to the important things you own that you’d need to keep in your bedroom. This generally includes closet or wardrobe (unless you have a walk-in closet). Other pieces of furniture to consider is vanity and storage bench.

Convenience

It’s customary to have nightstands where night lamps or any kind of item you’d like to keep close to your bed are put. Nightstands could have drawers or simply in a form of a small desk the same height with your mattress. Know what you need and figure out what you might need, while considering the space you have.

Miscellaneous

What’s a bedroom without a personal touch? While you can go wild with this aspect, when choosing bedroom decor Yogyakarta make sure that your decoration won’t clutter your space. Remember your bedroom’s primary purpose to let you rest.

If you have limited space, consider not having a television in your room. Not only the tv stand would take a lot of space, the presence of a television is known to disrupt your sleep and therefore lower the quality of recovery you get every time you rest on your bed. The bedroom is an important restorative space for you and it’s best if you keep your bedroom function strictly to its primary purpose; for resting.

Awesome Scuba Diving Hacks for Beginners You’ve Never Heard Before

So, you are ready to join the sub-culture (pun intended). You might have already joined scuba diving for beginners classes in your local area or holiday destination. Diving now seems so eye-opening—to discover a whole new world you’ve never been in before. To travel in places once unreachable and see lives unimaginable to the mind before. But you have just learn the basics and there’s a lot of things you haven’t know before. Here are simple diving hacks from the pros that will make your scuba diving days a lot easier.

Awesome Scuba Diving Hacks for Beginners You’ve Never Heard Before

Brilliant Scuba Diving Hacks for Beginners:

Drink Plenty Before Going Submerged—It’s Important!

Di you know that the air you breathe during the scuba dive is dry? That’s why you need to drink a lot before and after diving. Just because they are going inside the water, many divers forget to drink their water. You should never forget that scuba diving is basically an active sport (and quite extreme, sometimes). It’s easy to get dehydrated during diving—and it could get worse by breathing the dry air. Always keep a large 2L water bottle with you at all times. You might need to take as much as 3L if you are taking a scuba diving for beginners class in SE Asia such as Bali.

Wear Socks Underneath Your Fins

Awesome Scuba Diving Hacks for Beginners You’ve Never Heard Before

Have you ever finish a dive with scuffed feet because of the fins? The friction between your foot and the fins could cause blister and it can be quite a pain while kicking underwater. Well, say scuffed feet no more. Say hello to socks. They help put a barrier between your foot and the fins and minimise the friction. Just, for the love of Neptune, don’t use your regular wool socks. Try to invest on neoprene dive socks which is excellent to keep your foot warm, protected, but don’t absorb water.

Use Snorkel to Save Air Consumption

When you dive, you want to save as much as possible to extend the bottom time. Breathe through the snorkel instead of the air tank regulators on first few minutes while you are defending to the water and while waiting for your dive buddies to descend. Switch to the snorkel whenever you are near the surface to further save the air.
